The Copperhead United Team won the championship at the Georgia Southern Shootout last weekend in Hampton, GA. The Cooperheads fought tough, coming out on top of 24 teams in High School Division B.
The Copperheads are a national traveling lacrosse team out of Newnan featuring a number of local players including Colten Ryan of Whitewater and Joe Cearbaugh, Austin Glang, and Austin Berkie of Starr's Mill. Just this summer they have competed in tournaments in Maryland and Virginia.
