Fayette County Water System customers can now elect to come into the new century with the onset of e-billing. Customers will find the information about enrolling in their monthly water bills in September.
In the very near future, no specific date has been given, the system will have the ability to email monthly water bills. To receive bills via email, users will have to give the county a current email address.
“To enroll in this program, please email our office from the email address you wish to add to your account. Send emails to www.watersystem@fayettecountyga.gov, with the subject line E-Bill. Please include your name, water system account number, water service address and a contact number.”
Residents already have other options for convenience payments, with online payments possible at the system’s website at www.fayettecountyga.gov/water or by telephone at 1-866-283-9832. Customers can also use their individual bank’s online bill system.
There are also drop boxes located throughout the county. In Peachtree City, drop boxes are located at the Regions Bank locations at Kedron Drive and at the corner of Crosstown Road and Peachtree Parkway, next to the drive-thru ATM. In Fayetteville, drop box locations are at the administrative complex at 140 Stonewall Avenue and in front of the water system’s offices at 254 McDonough Road in Fayetteville.
Customers can also pay in person and mail via check, cash or money order and through a bank draft. Customers can have water bill payments automatically drafted from their checking or savings account. Bank draft forms can be completed at the water system’s offices or can be mailed . Customers should include a voided check or deposit slip from the bank account they wish to have payments drafted from. |
