Carlton (Bud) Schrader and his wife Mavis Jensen Schrader recently celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary, on September 5, 2012 with a dinner at Canoe restaurant in Atlanta.
They were married in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1942, and raised their four children Gail, Nancy, Douglas and Susan in Chesterton, Indiana.
In 1997, Bud and Mavis built their home in Peachtree City, where their daughter Susan (husband, Van) Vandivier and daughter Gail Schrader also live. Daughter Nancy Schrader lives in Port Townsend, Washington, and son Douglas (wife, Linda) lives in New Concord, Kentucky.
Bud and Mavis are members of the First United Methodist Church of Peachtree City. They currently live with their daughter Susan.
