People are buzzing about the novel, Blood and Magnolias, by local author, Morgan Summerfield (The Lady in Black). Attend the Promise Place 5K fundraiser on September 28, 6:00 p.m., at Peachtree City Hall, meet Morgan and find out more about the story. Come run, walk, purchase an autographed copy of Blood and Magnolias or one of Morgan’s paintings, and help Promise Place in its efforts to fight domestic violence.
Morgan has committed to donate a portion of the days profits to Promise Place and a painting for their administrative office conference room. Morgan is an active Promise Place volunteer and chaired the committee for their 25th Anniversary Celebration.
