Clarence Edward Miers of Riverdale passed away October 1, 2012. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He then worked for Eastern Airlines and retired with over 30 years of service. Mr. Miers was also a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Marge Miers of 57 years; son Paul R. and Kim Miers; daughter Melody J. Cook and Randy Coe; Grandchildren Jennifer L. Miers, Philip Cook and Austin S. Coe.
A memorial service was held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church. The family received friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Dr. Randy Wood will officiate.
