Buddy and Janet Burkett of Brandon, Mississippi and Steve and Theresa Ward of Byram, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Gail Ward, to Josh Wayne Davis, son of Gary and Diana Davis of Brooks, Georgia.
Miss Ward is the granddaughter of Edna Ward and the late Jack Ward, Jr. of Harrisville, Mississippi. Mr. Davis is the grandson of Grady and Opal Davis of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Vanuel and Jane Baker of Havana, Florida.
The bride elect is a 2001 graduate of Northwest Rankin High School.
The prospective groom is a 1996 graduate of Fayetteville, Georgia.
The couple will exchange vows on November 10, 2012 at Red Top Mountain in Cartersville, Georgia. A reception will immediately follow after the ceremony.
