Mary Alice Lamb, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away October 31, 2012. She was the former Post Mistress of the Inman Post Office located in the Lamb’s Country Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul O. Lamb and her sister Willie Frances Austin.
She is survived by her daughter Mary (Lonnie) Harn of Richmond Hill; son Marvin (Cindy) Lamb of Fayetteville; daughter Denise Clark of Fayetteville; daughter Paula (David) Caras of Marietta; grandchildren Marty (Kimberly) Harn of Mobile, Ala., Heather (Curt) Whitlock of Fayetteville, Ashley Lamb of Fayetteville, Tony Ingkatanuwat of Fairburn, Nicholas Caras of Marietta, Jennifer Caras of Marietta; six great-grandchildren; brother Joe (Pat) Ragan of Birmingham, Ala. and Howard (Frances) Ragan of Dallas.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Inman United Methodist Church, Fayetteville. Rev. Ray Camp will officiate. The burial will follow at Inman United Methodist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
