Mr. Glenn William “Bill” Bearden, of Fayetteville, passed away on November 17, 2012 at the age of 89.
Mr. Bearden was a proud veteran of the United States Army, the United States Air Force, and the State Department with a career spanning over 35 years.
He was a loving, kind and caring man who is survived by the “love of his life”, his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Bearden of Fayetteville; his daughter Cindy Allen and her fiancée Chris Mulvenna of Newnan; grandson Kevin Allen and his fiancée Katie Davis of Newnan; and Sister Faye Milligan of Decatur.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Reverend Gene Tyre will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Alzheimers Association, at www.ALZ.org.
