Mr. Joe Banks, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away on December 14, 2012. Mr. Banks was a retired truck driver for Carolina Freight Carrriers. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Banks of Fayetteville; children, Danny (Connie) Banks of Newnan, Terry (Scott) Dooley of Brooks, and Johnny Banks of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Amber Banks of Newnan, Matt Dooley of Brooks, Sandie and Jason Williams of Senoia, Kristi and Dennis Connely of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Evan, Noah, and Kaden Connely of Dallas; also, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Ray Butler and Reverend Charles Grovenstein will officiate. The burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
