Philip “Phil” Lee Miller, of Conyers, GA, passed away on January 27, 2013 at the age of 73. Phil was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Army. He worked for many years in the auto sales industry in the Atlanta metro area and recently retired as the Customer Service Manager of Superior Chevrolet. He was known for his sharp dress, his “wicked funny” sense of humor, his devilish grin and the twinkle in his eye.
Phil is preceded in death by his father C.C. Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Angela McLeroy Miller; daughter Kimberly Miller Morris of Brooks; granddaughters, Heather L. Morris and Jessica L. Morris of Brooks; his mother Ethel M. Miller of Glenville, Pa.; brothers James Miller and wife Doris, Donald Miller and wife Faye, Dale Miller and wife Cindy, Ted Miller and wife Brenda; nieces and nephews; and his “four legged children” Sammie, Cody and Callie.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Glenn Stringham will officiate. Interment will follow at Brooks Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
