Investigation leads to child porn arrest

Two Fayetteville men were arrested on child pornography and drug charges on Thursday.
According to Sheriff Barry Babb, the arrests were the result of an investigation done in cooperation with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement services culminating in search warrants of t280 Franklin Farms Circle in Fayetteville in connection to a child pornagraphy case.
Cody Dale Pope, 20, is being held on a drug-related charge and John David Wallace, 48, is accused of possessing child pornography. They are both currently at the Fayette County Jail awaing wrrants. The investigation is ongoing.
