Sammy Louis Randolph, 81, of Atlanta, passed away April 26, 2013. His first priority was to his wife, children and grandchildren. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Atlanta Journal and Constitution after working as a printer for 28 years. He was also an avid Alabama fan.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Randolph of Atlanta; son, Brent & Melinda Randolph of Peachtree City; daughters, Kelly & Clarence Leathers of Fayetteville and Stacy & Darwin White of McDonough; grandchildren Zac & Morgan Randolph, Carson, Madison & Sam Leathers, Brennan & Courtney Leathers and Taylor, Colton & Sydney White; sisters Kate Henderson of Bessemer, Alabama, Joan & Billy Yielding of Hamilton, Alabama and Gracelyn Ray of Hackleburg, Alabama.
A funeral service was held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Cliftondale, 4005 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park. Reverend Robert Morgan will officiate. The family received friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
