James Darren Holt, 47, of Louisville, Kentucky originally from Fayetteville, Georgia passed away June 21, 2013.
He was employed by Ford Motor Company as an Automation Engineer. Darren will be remembered by his entire family. He was a very compassionate family man and walked with the Lord daily. He loved to travel the country with his family. He had passions for rebuilding motorcycles, motorcycle racing and chocolate. He was a proud member of the Penobscot Indian Nation in Olde Town, Maine. He loved helping others and in doing so he died a hero.
He is survived by his wife Cassie Holt; son Kelby and Heather Holt; daughter Moriah Holt and Aprilia Holt; mother Brenda and Ron Miller; father Randy Holt; brother Chris and Lori Holt; sister Emily Holt; step-brother Brian and Amy Miller; step-sister Jennie and John Workman; grandmother Mary Kay Martin; a large extended family.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Dennis Watson and Dr. John Hobbs will officiate. The burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family received friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
