Hoyt Cleveland Henderson, 81, of Fayetteville passed away March 21, 2014.  Mr. Henderson was the owner of Henderson Appraisals and All Pro Claims. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Willoden Henderson; son Don Henderson; mother and father Mary Henderson Maulden and Wheeler Henderson; brother Doc Henderson; sister Corine Harrison; sister Larlie Henderson. 
Survivors include daughter Pat Miller; son Robert (Patsy) Henderson; daughter Anita (Gene) Meyer; daughter Connie Harbin; daughter Barbara (Kenny) Crews;daughter Tammy Henderson; 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister Faye Sharp; brother Eddie Henderson; sister Hilda Steedley; sister Martha Elrod; also nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2014 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Fayetteville Chapel with Pastor Hugh Burdette officiating. The interment will be at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Revered Frank O. Klein
Reverend Frank O. Klein, 93, of Peachtree City, passed away March 24, 2014. He had been the visitation Pastor for Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church and known as “Father Frank.” He graduated from Capital University and Evangelical Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. He was a Pastor at Bethany Lutheran Church in Bethel Park, PA; started a mission church in Suitland, MD (Bethany Lutheran); Pastor of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Lorain, Ohio; and founding Pastor of Hope Lutheran Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was President of Kiwanis Clubs in Ohio and Florida.
Reverend Klein was preceded in death by Ruth Klinzing Klein, the mother of his three children and Elizabeth Pine Klein. He is survived by his children Richard (Leslie) Klein of Peachtree City, Judy (Bob) Taylor of Asheville, NC and Linda (Gary) Hall of Reston, VA; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at noon at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Pastor Fritz Wiese and Pastor Miriam Beecher will officiate. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Reverend Frank Klein’s name, 101 N. Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree City, GA 30269.

David L. Pope
David L. Pope of Fayetteville, GA, passed away on March 22, 2014 at the age of 66.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  After honorable discharge from the Army he began his career in law enforcement at the East Point Police Department.  He is survived by his daughter Krista (Robert) Warmack of Fayetteville; three grandsons Blake, Christian and Colby; brother Don Pope of Villa Rica; sister Sue Craddock of Villa Rica and niece Kelly Polidore of Dacula.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.  The burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at GA National Cemetery in Canton.  The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fred A. Pyron
Fred A. Pyron, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away March 20, 2014.  He was previously employed by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Dept.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ellis and Minnie Lou Pyron.  He is survived by his wife Doris Pyron of Fayetteville; daughters Judy (Jim) Wilson of Dade City, FL and Kathy (Jay) Moore of Gainesville, GA; sons Joe (Lannell) Pyron of Gay, GA and Rodney Pyron of Stockbridge, GA; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and sister Mary Gaddy.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.  Pastor Jerry Cross will officiate.  The burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eugenia B. Garrett
Eugenia B. Garrett, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away March 21, 2014.  She is survived by her husband Robert Garrett of Fayetteville; sons Jack (Carol) Garrett of Jackson, Rodney (Kathy) Garrett of Fayetteville and Robert (Susan) Garrett of Woodland, AL; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Alvin G. Turner
Alvin G. Turner, of Fayetteville, passed away on March 22, 2014 at the age of 94. Loved by his devoted wife and soul mate of 71 years, Doris Hayes Turner, he was a faithful husband, a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, a loyal servant of God, and a friend to many.  Alvin was one of 17 children born to Amos and Lilla Banks Turner of Brooks, Georgia.  From his humble beginnings he went on to become a successful farmer, a Ford Auto worker, and a hardworking, well loved, and respected member of his community.  After serving in World War II in the 802 Field Artillery under General Patton, Alvin worked at Southern Mills in Senoia and then at the Ford Assembly Plant in Hapeville, Georgia from 1952-1982 where he was a Quality Control inspector.   After retiring from Ford, he became active in the UAW Local 882  and served as its Chairperson for many years. In retirement, he and Doris traveled to all 50 states and enjoyed the companionship of many family and friends on these trips. 
An active member of Lisbon Baptist Church, Alvin served as a teacher of the youth, a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and song leader and was a  choir member until the age of 85.  When asked to complete a task for which he did not have the knowledge, expertise, or experience, his answer was, “I will do the best I can.”  In his journey with dementia, Alvin never forgot how to pray to his Lord.  His sense of humor, keen until the very end, brought a smile to many faces. 
Mr. Turner is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Lilla Banks Turner;  granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Turner; and fifteen brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Doris Hayes Turner; son Ken (Oneida) Turner of Fayetteville; daughter Donna (Mike) Borders of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Scott Borders (Lori Montgomery) of Atlanta; Brent (Julie) Borders of Smyrna;  Kenna (Mike) West of Peachtree City; great-grandchildren, Nathan Turner and Lawson West; sister, Carolyn (Al) Braun of Sparks, Nevada; and wonderful caregivers—Anita, Charity, and Yewande.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Lisbon Baptist Church.  Rev. Danny Wilson and Rev. Carlton Swicegood will officiate.  The burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home. Anderson, Jr.
Henry “Andy” Anderson, Jr., 96, of Peachtree City, passed away March 22, 2014. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was also a sales supervisor and price coordinator for Associated Grocers Co-op, Inc.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife Geri Anderson; brother Howell P. Anderson and grandson Derek Dyer. He is survived by his daughter Leslie and her husband Drew Dyer, Jr. of Peachtree City; son Terry  A. and his wife Linda Anderson of Alpharetta; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014  at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. Reverend Sean Robinson will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Old Covington Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rosemarie Scalzo DeFrancesco, 83, of Fayetteville, GA. passed away March 21, 2014 at Southwest Christian Care in Union City, GA. She was a retired AT&T employee and worked in the Accounting Department in White Plains, New York. She was a member of Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fayetteville.
She is survived by a son who resides in Pleasantville, New York with his family, Joseph Angelo Scilufo, daughter-in-law Sarah, and two cherished grandchildren, Taylor and Justin, two sisters Thomasina O’shea of Deerfield Beach, Florida, and Donna Rounds of Fayetteville, GA. She has several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville and Brooks Funeral Home in Newburgh, New York. A memorial service is planned at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 25 South Robinson Avenue, Newburgh, NY. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291 in her memory. Funeral arrangements are still pending at this time.

Edith Jones, 89, of Fayetteville and formerly of Riverdale, passed away March 24, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Manson Jones. She is survived by her sister Mildred; brother-in-law Jake (Effie) Jones; sister-in-law Pat (Bo) Carden; and several nieces & nephews.

Jeffrey R. Stalker
Jeffrey R. Stalker, 54, passed away March 23, 2014. He was an owner/operator of J.S. and Associates. He belonged to the Methodist Church and was an Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his parents Richard and Linda Stalker of Medina, NY; sister Julie Paul and her husband Michael of Medina, NY; brother James Stalker and Loretta Tancak of Senoia; nieces and nephews Jennifer Stalker of Acworth, Jason Stalker of Canandaigua, NY, Aidan Paul, Addison Paul both of Medina, NY and Brett Tancak of Senoia and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Stalker was cremated and there will be no local services.

Marian Ann White
Marian Ann White, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away March 18, 2014. She loved working with children in preschool and kindergarten at New Hope Baptist Church and made costumes for their church productions. She visited with the homebound and delivered Meals on Wheels. She also volunteered at Christian City.
She was preceded in death by her brother Daniel Flynn. She is survived by her husband James White of Fayetteville; daughter Letha (Chris) Nash of Fayetteville; sons Allen White of Fayetteville and David (Jaclynn) White of Senoia; grandchildren Adam & Emily Nash and Nicolous, Gabriel & Samuel White; and sisters Jean (Michael) Spradlin of McDonough and Alice Ruth Bell of Search, AR.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Rhys Stenner and Reverend Wendell Kirby will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the service.
