 Virginia Lea Hudson and Matthew Scott Power Mr. & Mrs. Wayne Williams of Crawfordville, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Lea Hudson to Matthew Scott Power, son of Mr. & Mrs. Scott Power of Fayetteville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gilly Adams of Greensboro, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace Williams of Crawfordville.
Ginny is a 2002 graduate of Nathanael Greene Academy in Siloam, Georgia.
She is a 2007 graduate of Piedmont College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
She is currently employed at Taliaferro County School where she serves as the Graduation Coach.
The groom elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Candler Jarrell Power and Mrs. Floy Power of Fayetteville, Mr. and Mrs. John Peacock of East Point, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Wakeman, of Fayetteville, and the late Mr. Stephen Patrick of Fayetteville.
Matt is a 1999 graduate of Fayette County High School in Fayetteville.
He is a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources.
He is currently employed as a Supervisor with Osmose Utility Services.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 30, 2009.
