Margaret Coffey age 85, formerly of Newnan,Georgia, passed away in Smyrna, Tennessee where she had resided since 1952. She was born in Newnan to the late Cleveland Norton and Florence Sprayberry Norton. Margaret Coffey was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Harrison Coffey and son, Edward Cleve Coffey.
Survivors include son, Charles Coffey of Arizona, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.mckoon.com
Graveside services for Mrs. Coffey will be held Saturday June 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4301 Roscoe Road Newnan, Georgia. Rev. Gary Cunningham will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday June 27, 2009 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at McKoon Funeral Home 38 Jackson St. Newnan,GA 30263. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday June 28, 2009 at the Smyrna First United Methodist Church, 301 Sam Davis Road Smyrna,TN.
