Michael Ray Baskerville, Jr. Fayetteville police have charged Michael Ray Baskerville, Jr. with the Aug. 15 robbery of the Bank of America on Highway 314.
Baskerville was attempting to rob a Sun Trust bank on Oct. 5 in Cobb County when local police arrested him.
Baskerville is currently in the Cobb County jail, where Fayetteville police will serve him with charges.
“Our detectives met with detectives in Cobb County and were able to get enough information to prove he robbed the Bank of America,” said Fayetteville Police Capt. Steve Crawshaw.
On Aug. 15 at 11:20 a.m., a 6 foot tall black male wearing a white dress shirt and black slacks entered the Bank of America at Highway 314 and New Hope Road and presented a note to a teller stating his intention to rob the bank, according to a previous press release from Crawshaw.
The teller then handed him an undisclosed amount of money before the robber fled the scene.
According to Cobb County Sherriff’s Office arrest reports, Baskerville is a resident of Atlanta and is unemployed.
