Ms. Erin Woodward of Atlanta announces the engagement of her daughter, Brittnay Nicole Woodward, to Edgar J. ‘Trey’ Alverson III of Fayetteville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. Maurice Woodward. Brittnay is a 2000 graduate of Pope High School in Marietta and a longtime employee of Sprint.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Edgar J. Alverson Jr., grandson of Mr. Edgar J. Alverson, Sr. of Stockbridge, the late Mrs. Narciss Alverson and Mr. & Mrs. Dominic Pasquale of Peachtree City.

Trey is a 2001 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2005 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He is the editor of this newspaper.

The wedding will be held April 10, 2010, at Fairweather Farms near Social Circle, Ga.

Following their honeymoon, the couple will reside in the south metro Atlanta area.
