The Peachtree City 50K and 25K Road Races will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Luther Glass Park. Applications can be found at www.darksiderunningclub.com.  For more information call (770) 487-7445.

Miss South Fayette County Beauty Pageant will take place at the Whitewater High School auditorium at 3 p.m. The pageant is open to girls 3 years old through 12th grade. For more information and an application go to www.brookselementary.org or call (770) 719-8150.

Pine Grove Baptist Church Revival Services through Nov. 11. Sunday morning services will begin at 11 a.m., other services will be at 7 p.m. nightly. There will be different preachers and music for each service. Pine Grove Baptist Church, 2479 Hwy. 92 South, Fayetteville.

The BarlowGirl Superchick Live Tour sponsored by J93.3 is coming to The Fred. This will be their only tour date in the Atlanta area so this is a must see event. The concert is at the Fredrick Brown Jr., Amphitheater at 201 McIntosh Trail in PTC. A diabetes support group meeting titled “Holiday Meal Planning” will be hosted by the Piedmont Newnan Hospital at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of Piedmont Newnan Hospital at 60 Hospital Road in Newnan.  Led by registered and licensed dietitian, Mary Chitwood, the event is free and open to the public. 

Peachtree City Tennis & BMW Combo Tournament at the Glenloch Tennis Courts is 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 15.

The Twilight Theatre will hold auditions for The Taming of the Shrew at 7:30 p.m. in the gym at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Adults and high school students may audition for all parts. Those in middle school may audition for servants and guests only. No previous Shakespeare experience required, but strong comedic timing is a must.
