We respectfully announce the passing of Lessie Mae Lovelace, formerly of Newnan. Tuesday on Jan. 5, 2010 at Signature Health Care of Buckhead in Atlanta.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the Roscoe Jenkins Chapel. Reverend J.T. Coleman, Officiant. Interment: Eastview Cemetery.
Viewing was Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Lessie Mae Lovelace was born April 18, 1923 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie and Geneva Lovelace of Newnan. Lessie was the second oldest of eight siblings. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010 at Signature Healthcare of Buckhead in Atlanta.
Lessie was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church on Smokey Road in Newnan.
She was educated in the Coweta County school system and finished High School in Moreland.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory one brother and two sisters: Mr. Leroy Lovelace, Mrs. Sarah Allen and Ms. Rebecca Woodard all of Atlanta; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Julia Lovelace; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. |
