Mr. Richard Lamar Saylors, II, of Brooks, GA, died on Jan. 30, 2010 at the age of 27. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his dogs. He attended Starrs Mill High School before beginning his career in the construction industry. He was a loving son, brother, grandson and uncle who loved nothing more than spending time with family and his girlfriend, Arisha Rives. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Cynthia Saylors, of Wedowee, Al, formerly of Brooks; sister Heather Grijalva (Robert) of Concord; brother William James Saylors of Wedowee, Al; nieces Ava Dianne Grijalva and Zoe Madelyn Grijalva of Concord; grandparents Charles Linger of Douglasville, Bonnie Brown of Griffin and Annilee Saylors of Riverdale. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Keith Moore and Rev. Josh Gill officiating. The burial will follow at Brooks Memorial Cemetery. The family received friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. |
