BDF Rock Landford, owned and ridden by Brooks, GA Equine Law Attorney Loyd Hall Black, Jr., has won the 2011 English Trail Pleasure Championship of the Georgia Walking Horse Exhibitors’ Association.
On his way to his championship, “The Rock” amassed more winning points througout the course of ten shows than any horse competing in eighteen categories of competition sponsored by the association.
He is a six year old registered Tennessee Walking Horse originally bred in Georgia, and he began his 2011 show season by taking the blue ribbon at the prestigious Walking Horse Trainers’ Association show in Shelbyville, Tenn.
Black purchased The Rock in 2009 after recovering from open heart surgery and renamed him for his cardiologist and heart surgeon. (Special Photo)
