Two of a kind isn’t necessarily a good thing, as one Peachtree City woman found out this week when police arrested her for having one too many husbands.
According to police, they received information from a concerned citizen that Lucy Caudill, 39, was involved in a bigamous marriage with a local man, so they conducted an investigation which resulted in Caudill’s arrest on May 3.
The investigation revealed that Caudill has been married to her first husband for approximately 15 years. In October 2011, she met her second husband at the Tavern on 74 Sports Bar. During this time, she allegedly obtained a fake ID that showed her age to be 29. On April 25, 2012, she applied for a marriage license at the Fayette County Probate Court under the name Lucy Caudle Bailey. On April 26, 2012, she married her second husband in a small ceremony at Starr's Mill.
Cuadill has been charged with one count of felony Bigamy and one count of second degree Forgery.
