2012-05-07

By Pat Cooper

A Peachtree City man is facing six years in prison after his guilty plea to six felony thefts of a motor vehicles.
Trey Allen Doxie, 19, admitted stealing four golf carts from the Interlochen subdivision and two more from the Rockspray subdivision over the course of two days - with four being taken in one day- in August 2011. At the time of his arrest, Doxie was already on probation for fogery for passing countefeit bills at Starr’s Mill High School, where he’d been granted first offender status. That status would have allowed him to have his record expunged if he’d completed his probation without incident. Now, that status has been revoked, not just for this incident, but also two prior violations prior to the golf cart thefts.
